ROUTE PRESENTATION IN GORIČAN

„The Iron Age Danube Route“ – a new Council of Europe cultural route passes through numerous archaeological sites of the Iron Age and was presented to as many as 14 tourist boards across northern Croatia.
Being involved with a cultural route in Europe rural areas are given an outstanding opportunity and an incentive for development. On that occasion, a presentation of the route was held in the archaeological park Necropolis under the tumuli in Goričan, which was attended by Tatjana Horvatić, Head of Services for Movable, Ethnographic and Intangible Cultural Heritage (Ministry of Culture and Media) and member of the Governing Board of the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes (EPA). The route continues to grow with the support of Sandra Herman, Tourism Ministry state secretary.
